Yeti Tumbler

The assignment for this project was to create a visually compelling illustration advertisement using the gradient mesh technique in illustrator. Creating a photo realistic tumbler by using the program to capture lights and shadows to display depth. While the color is more feminine it was important to keep the message of ruggedness and strength that Yeti is known for. Inspired by the adventurous spirit of the YETI brand, I designed this advertisement to evoke the durability and premium craftsmanship of their gear. In order to keep the branding, the signature Yeti typeface was used along with the slogan “Gear built with no end in sight” to show that Yeti is built to last no matter what.
