Save the Date

For this assignment I used Illustrator to create a save the date for an upcoming wedding. The focus of this assignment along with creating an elegant card was to research different print shops and Online printing stores to figure out which company would be the best to work with. By ordering sample packages from different brands we were able to decide which type of paper would be best. Once the decision of which type of paper was made we were able to go to websites and get quotes on how much the total of 150 save the dates along with matching envelopes would be. For my design the floral boarder would be embossed and the names of the bride and groom would be done using gold foil. Due to these extra details my save the date was more expensive, which made looking at different companies very important so I could find the best price.
