Lemiso Semi Truck

For this project I was commissioned to create a logo by a new business owner who had just bought a line of dump trucks. He had hired a different graphic designer before me and was unhappy with the designs he was given due to the designers lack of questions about what the client really wanted. Going into the consultation I knew that questions were very important due to the client being unsure of what he wanted. I was given a name (Lemiso) and a symbol (a bee) that were to represent to company. After that I asked about how he wanted the company to be seen and he said he wanted it to be seen as friendly and professional. Lemiso needed a logo that would stand out in both digital and print contexts—striking a perfect balance between simplicity and sophistication. Using Illustrator the final logo is confident yet minimal, a strong foundation for building an enduring and scalable brand identity. After my client was happy with the design I converted the file to be sent off to their print shop.
